You Need This: Bell Launches New “Alt TV” Mobile Streaming App

Bell Canada’s New Alt TV Service launched Monday May 15th 2017. Allowing Bell subscribers to watch content offered typically through Bell TV now through their Bell Fibe TV App on your smartphones, tablets and computers. 4th generation Apple TV users are also able to take advantage of this streaming service, with plans to release the service later this year to android TV devices.

Currently the service is only available in Quebec and Ontario however will be coming in the near future to Atlantic Canada and Manitoba and comes at an additional starting cost of $14.95 on top of your Bell’s Fibe high-speed home internet service.Alt TV is only available to users who subscribe to an unlimited internet usage plan, Bells currently cheapest unlimited package is the Fibe 25 unlimited plan which comes at a cost of $84.95 per month (regular cost) within Ontario. Where this service is based around heavy internet users you have the safety and confidence of knowing when you are binging streaming TV you wont get a heavy internet usage bill to accompany it.
